THE STUDIO'S APPROACH / Less is more
In search of an aesthetic of simplicity and purity that transcends artistic disciplines. A minimalist vision, where every element is essential, without superfluous details, to further enhance its visual impact. The studio embodies this philosophy through sculptures in concrete, marble, or walnut, as well as geometric paintings and etchings.
The principle of 'Less is more,' formulated by modernist architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, finds its full expression here: a reduction to essentials that magnifies raw materials and contrasts, echoing the legacy of modernism while remaining profoundly contemporary.
Striving for the essential—eliminating unnecessary ornamentation to reveal the purity of form—transcending trends to embrace a lasting aesthetic. The refined sculptures convey a message of serenity in a world saturated with stimuli. They invite viewers to slow down, to contemplate, and to find beauty in balance.
The audience is encouraged to explore the apparent simplicity, which often conceals a complex reflection on balance and proportion. The works are designed to be viewed from different angles, using a minimalist palette of colors (black, white, gray, or gradients of natural tones). Textured surfaces interact with light to energize geometric forms.
THE ARTIST / Isabelle Noupré
A visual artist and multidisciplinary creator, constantly evolving, and self-taught. Lines—an obsession—one even permanently etched onto her skin, like a new lifeline traced in ink. Just as this simple tattooed line can represent a world of ideas—time, the horizon, or purity—her works reflect a pursuit of balance between forms, materials, and emptiness.
From artistic creation—painting, etching, sculpture—to graphic transformations that lead to new works, each step mirrors her artist's soul. Initially captivated by kinetic art, passionate about architecture, and sensitive to abstract and timeless art, her inspirations are also shaped by her half-Hungarian heritage.
With over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry, she has a natural inclination to build bridges between these two worlds. She enjoys the visual dialogue between art and fashion, weaving connections through her first exhibition at the refined concept store 'Aim' in Maastricht, Netherlands.
